The customer required an efficient waste gas treatment system for industrial exhaust containing dust, particulate matter, and harmful gases. Based on the characteristics of the exhaust and the customer’s production environment, a packed-bed spray scrubber system was designed to provide effective purification and stable operation.

During operation, exhaust gas containing dust or harmful gases enters the bottom of the treatment tower through the air duct. Driven by the induced draft fan, the gas flows upward at a controlled and uniform speed through the tower. At the same time, the circulating washing liquid is sprayed from the top and flows downward through the packing layer, creating sufficient gas-liquid contact.

The packing layer, made of porous materials such as plastic balls and ceramic rings, increases the gas-liquid contact area and improves the absorption efficiency. Dust and particulate matter are captured during the washing process, while soluble pollutants and harmful gases are further removed through physical absorption and chemical reactions. For acidic exhaust gases, alkaline washing water can be used to neutralize and remove pollutants, improving the overall purification performance.

After passing through the packing and spray sections, the treated gas is further separated from droplets before being discharged through the outlet. The system effectively reduces dust and harmful gas concentrations, helping the customer control industrial emissions and improve the working environment.
The waste gas treatment system features a compact structure, stable operation, convenient maintenance, and flexible configuration according to different exhaust gas characteristics. After treatment, the purified gas can meet the applicable national emission requirements, providing the customer with a reliable and environmentally friendly solution for industrial waste gas management.
